This book is a fraud. The information contained in it maybe in itself of some value to those who have no access to the internet. But then again this book can only be obtained via the internet!!

Each and every article contained in the book has already been published on the internet. As an example Chapter 5 on the Engerth semi-articulated is published under http://booksllc.net?q=Engerth%5Flocomotive, which refers to a wikipedia article. These articles are free to reproduce!!

Moreover, the book contains no pictures whatsoever, contrary to the online articles, actually the pictures are referred to in the text as "online image" in the text. The various categories of articulated locomotives are listed alphabetically with interrelation whatsoever. A historical background is absent. This book offers no added value for anyone who has access to the internet. A nasty way to empty your pockets. Considering the editors have made no attempt to add anything to the text already brought together on the internt it is way overpriced!!
